Wisteria chinensis 'Rosea' grows 8"-14" long leaves that are divided into 9-13 leaflets. The long-stalked, lavender-pink flowers are very fragrant. This plant is very adaptable and can be grown as a tree, vine, or shrub.

Maintain a two to four inch layer of mulch on the soil surface to reduce weeds, infiltrate rain water, and reduce compaction.
Check soil moisture below the surface with a soil probe or large screwdriver, trowel or shovel. Don't assume the plants need water just because the soil surface looks dry.
Remove irrigation water and fertilizer from areas where you don't want weeds to grow.
